School Rules

General

  • Classes are to be paid for before you commence your class
  • You are welcome to bring a friend along to view our classes with a view to become a member of dancedomain, but we will not tolerate friends attending and watching every week.
  • Please do not bring issues from outside the school into our classes
  • Support your fellow members, be helpful and understanding

Conduct

  • Chewing of gum during your attendance is prohibited
  • Consumption of hot food is prohibited without permission from your teacher
  • Smoking is prohibited
  • Use of or under the influence of alcohol is prohibited
  • Use of or under the influence of drugs is prohibited
  • Respect for fellow members and teachers should be shown at all times
  • Postings on internet websites, chat rooms, such as facebook, bebo, msn, blogs, that are insulting, abusive or detrimental towards fellow members, staff or dancedomain will result in instant dismissal from the school. Legal action if deemed nescary.
  • When attending your class you are expected to sit quietly until your class commences
  • Pupils & Parents should not talk during class
  • Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent mode
  • Pupils should wait inside the building for collection by their parent/guardian
  • Whilst we do not wish to restrict anyone from learning and progressing in dance we require Pupils or Parents not to organise attending auditions, events, competitions, workshops, master classes or shows with a view to participate without the permission of your teacher.

Competitors

  • You are required to order your tickets in advance and must be paid for before the competition/event takes place.
  • Competition tickets ordered can be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the event. Tickets ordered must be paid for. Only under certain circumstances will this be waivered
  • When attending competitions you should walk around the edge of the floor only, but not whilst a competition is in progress. Please wait until between heats or events before moving from your seat.
  • We like have a reputation for being a tidy school when attending competitions, so please ensure you place all your rubbish in the bags provided by the promoter
  • Please make every effort to support all members of dancedomain at competitions even if they are not from your branch. We are all one school regardless of what area classes you attend.
  • Should in the unlikely event that an incident arose should be taken up with your teacher, please do not approach other teachers or promoters
