The School Terms &
Conditions
These are here to ensure you have an
enjoyable, safe time at DanceDomain
Remember you come by choice, as its
what you want to do!
We want everyone to enjoy being part of the school,
and so we have implemented some ground rules. You
will be provided with these rules when you join and
we require every pupil to read and digest them.
1 - During classes we expect our pupils to not chew
gum or eat. We strongly recommend that you have
bottled water and no fizzy drinks are allowed.
2 - We do not expect pupils who join our classes
to learn to dance to talk during tuition.
Its unfair on other pupils who are concentrating and
also unfair on the teacher who is calling out the
instructions.
3 - Parents are welcome to sit in during private
tuition but we do restrict this to one parent. We do
allow anymore than this as it becomes a distraction
for the pupil who is having tuition. During classes
we allow parents to enter at the end to so they can
watch their child. Whilst we understand you would
very much like to watch your child dance it is also
in your interest that we do not have large
collections of families and neighbour who just come
along to watch. It creates a large amount of noise
and distraction.
4 - All class fees are to be paid on the night. We
only accept cheques for payment of weekend dance
festivals and dancewear. Competition Tickets are to
be paid in cash.
5 - Trainers/pumps to be worn for Street
Dance - Freestyle bear feet or Jazz shoes
6 - When entering the studio - you must
walk around the edge of the floor if pupils are
dancing. Please do not talk and disrupt a class that
is in progress.

footwear. For Street classes you can wear baggy
clothing but this is not suitable for disco
freestyle or Ballroom/Latin.

the school and we ask that if you support everyone
in the school especially at competitions.

outside. A parent will be required to come into the
premises to collect their child.
